The board of directors for the reorganized North Olympic Peninsula Visitor and Convention Bureau are set to take office next week.
Election results were tallied Wednesday night for the new, 13-member board, comprised of representatives from lodging and tourism-related businesses as well as at-large members in unincorporated Clallam County.
The bureau’s current 22-member board voted on the new board members.
The Visitor and Convention Bureau had been responsible for promoting the entire North Olympic Peninsula.
In its new form, the bureau will focus on promoting only unincorporated areas of Clallam County.
Handling tourism promotion and marketing in the cities will be the local chambers of commerce.
