Olympic Park Institute is in the midst of a $1.5 million capital campaign to build and improve outdoor amenities, educational centers and administrative offices.

JoAnne Heron, Olympic Park Institute development associate, said the organization has already raised $750,000 toward its $1.5 million goal.

If the institute raises another $550,000 by December 2002, it will be eligible for a $200,000 grant from the Kresge Foundation, Heron said.
