PENINSULA: Workshop could help power users save energy

A free Alternative Energy Workshop this weekend could help power users save electricity and money.

The workshop is planned for Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Sunday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Unity in the Olympics, 2917 E. Myrtle, Port Angeles.

Participants in the workshop include Magna Force/Magnadrive, Clallam County Public Utility District, Ferrellgas of Port Angeles, and Students Advocating Global Environmentalism.

Donatas Kinderis, president of Sphere Systems Inc. of Port Townsend will also explain solar-powered hydrogen electric renewable energy.
