PHOTO: Downtown demolition makes progress in Port Angeles

Demolition equipment sits in the shell of what was once a Budget/Avis rental car garage on Front Street in downtown Port Angeles on Tuesday as crews work to demolish the structure to make way for a luxury hotel being built by the Lower Elwha Klallam tribe.

The garage and the Morse building that once contained the Downtown Hotel and the Cornerhouse Restaurant are also slated for demolition.

Three other buildings on the site have already been razed.
