PORT TOWNSEND — Santa and his reindeer fly above a snow-covered town in the display of the Winter Window on 823 Washington St.

Since Thanksgiving, the storefront window has been transformed each week with the addition of houses, a train, and finally the man in the red suit himself.

Outside on the street, boot and hoof prints lead the way to the festive display that has delighted young and old.

The scene is a collaborative effort between local production designers, artisans and craftspeople.
