PHOTO: Low, low tides force Port Townsend-Coupeville ferry cancellations

PORT TOWNSEND — The 11:45 a.m. sailing of the M/V Salish from Coupeville lands in Port Townsend on Wednesday. The state Department of Transportation announced tide cancellations for several routes this weekend. The affected routes from Port Townsend include the 8 a.m. and 8:45 a.m. sailings Thursday, the 8 a.m., 9:30 a.m. and 10:15 a.m. sailings Friday, and the 9:30 a.m., 10:15 a.m. and 11 a.m. sailings Saturday. One route, at 10:20 a.m. Friday, has been added from Port Townsend. Coupeville cancellations are 45 minutes later on all three days. No additional routes have been added from Coupeville.
