PORT ANGELES — Lavonne Huffman of Port Angeles looks over a table of curios during Saturday’s sale of books, fixtures and used merchandise at the former Lincoln School in Port Angeles.
The sale, conducted by the North Olympic History Center, previously known as the Clallam County Historical Society, was geared to empty the building, which has hosted the organization’s annual garage sale for 24 years.
The society discontinued the sale in 2018 with the eventual plan to use the structure as a museum.
