PHOTO: Traffic light replacement causes jam in Port Angeles

A crew from the state Department of Transportation hoists the support beam for a new traffic light at the corner of First and Lincoln streets in downtown Port Angeles on Wednesday, creating lane diversions at the busy intersection during installation.

The signals and support poles replace a set that was destroyed during an automobile wreck in May 2015. A temporary light had been in service since the incident.
