IF YOU HAVE a gorgeous photograph of a farm scene in the Sequim area, enter it in Sequim This Week’s online “Celebrating Sequim Farms Photo Contest” by 9 p.m. this Friday.
Sequim This Week is the Peninsula Daily News’ free weekly newspaper for the Sequim-Dungeness Valley.
The contest — sponsored by Nash’s Organic Produce, Hardy’s Market and Agnew Grocery and Feed — encourages people to enter their best images of farms, animals, fresh-from-the-field vegetables, fruits on the vine, farmers at work and other agricultural scenes in the Dungeness Valley.
The three photographers who receive the most votes in online voting will each receive a batch of vegetables, fruits and grains from Nash’s Organic Produce.
The three winning photographs will also be published in Sequim This Week on Wednesday, Sept. 28.
You can enter up to four photos.
To upload your photos, go to www.sequimthisweek.com, then click on the “Celebrating Sequim Farms Photo Contest” box on the right side of the Web page and follow the instructions.
If your image features a person, supply the first and last name of the person in the photograph.
Tell us which farm or other location the image was taken at.
It’s free to enter.
The online voting period to select the three best photos runs from 9:01 p.m. this Friday to midnight Wednesday, Sept. 21.
