PORT ANGELES — Police are attempting to locate an 80-year-old woman who left Port Angeles on Monday and never reached her destination.

Luella Hanson left Port Angeles at 2 p.m. that day, headed for Cle Elum in Kittitas County, said Port Angeles Sgt. Glen Roggenbuck in a prepared statement issued this morning.

Her family became alarmed when she did not arrive there Tuesday night, Roggenbuck said.

Hanson, who suffers from dementia, has not been seen or heard from since leaving Port Angeles and police are seeking the public’s assistance in finding her.

She is driving a gold Ford Taurus with the Washington license plate number 097 WHK.

She stands 5-feet-1-inch tall, weighs about 155 pounds and has blue eyes and gray hair.

To report information, phone the Port Angeles Police Department at 360-452-4545 or call 9-1-1 emergency dispatch.
