PORT ANGELES — City police are still looking for John Kerrigan, a 73-year-old man with dementia who was last seen Feb. 23 in Port Angeles.

“Mr. Kerrigan has not been seen,” Officer John Nutter said Saturday.

“We unfortunately have not had any information at all.”

Kerrigan was last seen at his residence at the Arlene Engel Home, 138 W. Second St., a group home near the top of the bluff overlooking downtown.

Kerrigan is 5-foot-8, 150 pounds with blue eyes and gray hair. He was wearing blue jeans, a blue winter jacket and a light-blue beanie cap when he went missing.

Nutter has said that police have followed up on several potential sightings, though none turned out to be credible.

Nutter said police have checked with Clallam Transit and various taxi services but have not heard of anyone matching Kerrigan’s description using those modes of transportation.

“At this point, we have no reason to believe he left town, but we’ve unfortunately been unable to find him, either,” Nutter said.

Nutter said Kerrigan regularly walked up and down Lincoln Street with a partner.

Kerrigan is on medication, police have said.

Anyone with information on Kerrigan’s whereabouts is asked to phone the Police Department at 360-452-4545.
