Stuart McColl had his Father’s Day present almost six days before it climbed 45 feet up a tree.
Jack, 7, and Ted, 6, bought their father an iguana. Its name is Rex.
About 30 inches long, Rex is kept in a large cage but was let out to enjoy the sunny weather while the McColls were building a new swimming pool.
“He was having a great time,” Janet McColl said. “He was licking his lips and cruising the rocks.”
Rex was playing in the sand and on the rocks with Ted and Jack when he bolted up a hemlock tree.
