PORT ANGELES — The man accused of robbing the downtown Bank of America in January will return to Clallam County today, two months after he allegedly fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Benjamin Michael Arredondo, 38, has waived extradition proceedings in Las Vegas, Nev., where he was arrested last week.
He will be escorted from Nevada to the Clallam County jail by a Port Angeles police officer today, Clallam County Prosecuting Attorney Deb Kelly said Tuesday.
Arredondo is expected to make his first appearance Thursday in Clallam County Superior Court, where he is charged with felony first-degree robbery.
