Law enforcement agents have seized another large stash of “B.C. bud”‘ marijuana — this time from a delivery truck entering Port Angeles aboard the MV Coho ferry from Victoria.
Olympic Peninsula Narcotics Enforcement Team investigators and federal agents located about 300 pounds of the potent marijuana Wednesday evening inside the storage area of the truck, said Clallam County Sheriff’s Capt. Ron Cameron.
The driver of the truck, Victoria resident Tony Chun Yu Tse, 41, was arrested and booked into the Clallam County jail while prosecutors review the case.
Officers in Clallam and Jefferson counties have seized more than 3,600 pounds of B.C. bud so far this year. Wednesday’s stash could be worth more than $1 million, depending on where it is sold, Cameron said.
