PORT ANGELES — A man covering his face with a respirator mask escaped on foot Tuesday afternoon after robbing the Bank of America branch on Eighth Street of an undisclosed amount of cash.
Bank employees told police the man entered the bank at 134 W. Eighth St. at about 12:55 p.m. wearing a dark plaid jacket, knit cap, sunglasses and a mask similar to those used by house painters covering his nose and mouth.
He was described as between 5 feet 8 inches and 5-10, and “husky.”
