PORT ANGELES — Without much comment, Port of Port Angeles commissioners unanimously agreed — but without an official vote — on Monday to extend Executive Director Clyde Boddy’s contract through the end of 2003.
But after the meeting, at least two of the three commissioners disagreed on just what the board had done with the contract.
Board President Glenn Beckman left after the meeting for a three-day conference in Seattle and was unavailable for comment.
Boddy, a 58-year-old Port of Port Angeles retiree, has a contract that pays him $7,500 a month for nine months, with an option for an additional three months.
