PORT ANGELES — City residents no longer need to boil their drinking water.
Water quality tests conducted Tuesday showed no harmful bacteria in the water, City Public Works Director Glenn Cutler said Wednesday.
“All test results were satisfactory,” he said.
Any water fountains, ice machines, soda machines or other such equipment not used during the past 24 hours should be flushed for about 30 seconds before being used again, Cutler said.
Residents with additional questions should call the city’s Water Quality Office at 360-417-4855, he said.
