PORT ANGELES — Nine students from the Port Angeles High School Future Business Leaders of America recently returned from the annual Washington State Business Leadership Conference, held at the Seattle Westin Hotel, with several recognitions.
The Port Angeles High chapter received an award as the second largest Olympic Peninsula region chapter.
It also received the Gold Seal Chapter award, given to the top 5 percent to 10 percent of chapters in Washington state that complete a rigorous list of extra requirements.
Madison Drew, a PAHS senior, placed fourth in health care administration and could represent the high school chapter at the FBLA National Conference in Nashville, Tenn., in June.
Pam Helpenstell and Bernie Brabant are the Port Angeles High chapter advisers.
