Port Angeles: Candidates in 5 races to face off on TV

Five debates in two days. – That’s the lineup today and Wednesday on Northland Cable Television’s channel 3. – The Peninsula News Network have teamed up to bring viewers “Meet the Press”‘-styled debates between District No. 3 county commissioner candidates Phil Kitchel and Mike Doherty at 7 p.m., and legislative hopefuls Rep. Jim Buck and Bill Thomas at 7:30 p.m.

On Wednesday, featured debates include sheriff’s candidates Joe Hawe and Soeren Poulsen at 7 p.m., prosecuting attorney hopefuls Chris Shea and Deb Kelly at 7:30 p.m., and District I Court candidates John Doherty and Rick Porter at 8 p.m.
