PORT ANGELES — The refurbished Carnegie Library on Lincoln Street will host Clallam County Historical Society exhibits beginning next year.
Kathy Monds told Port Angeles Chamber of Commerce members during a luncheon Monday that the grand opening is planned for April 26, 2004.
That coincides with the celebration of the 150th anniversary of Clallam County’s founding, Monds said.
“We are looking forward to it,” she said.
Details are still being developed, but the plan is to have historical exhibits on the library’s top floor and a gift shop and a room for rotating exhibits on the bottom floor, Monds said.
