PORT ANGELES — Seven new members have joined the Port Angeles Regional Chamber of Commerce board.
The newly elected members will join the board for their three-year terms Jan. 1, the board announced Wednesday.
The new board members, elected by chamber membership, are Jeff Allen, 1st Security Bank of Washington; Lisa Martin, Olympic Cellars Winery; Michael Peters, Lower Elwha Klallam Tribe; Bret Pfost, Aramark/Lake Crescent Lodge; Colleen Robinson, Habitat for Humanity; Karen Rogers, Ruddell Auto; and Tim Tucker, Peninsula College.
They replace departing members Brian Albright, Albright Network Solutions; Steve Burke, William Shore Memorial Pool; Michael Deighton, Lake Crescent Lodge; Jim Moran, 401K Co.; Brooke Nelson, Port Angeles Realty; Josh Rancourt, Country Aire Natural Foods; and Rob Tulloch, Greenaway, Gay &Tulloch.
The chamber board election committee included board President Sharon Thompson, Olympic Medical Center; Vice President Jessica Hernandez, Port Angeles Food Bank; Past President Jim Moran, 401K Company; at-large member Luke Robins, Peninsula College; Elizabeth Halady, First Federal; and Executive Director Marc Abshire.
The chamber board consists of at least 12 elected members, including officers, plus the immediate past president.
The Port Angeles Downtown Association and Port Angeles Business Association also have representation by one of their chamber members as additional voting members of the chamber board for a term of three years each, as do the city of Port Angeles, Clallam County and the Port of Port Angeles.
Although Burke’s term as an elected member expires at the end of this year, he will remain on the board, serving as the representative from the Port of Port Angeles.
Burke is a port commissioner.
