Port Angeles City Council candidate Tricia Smith Barrett has dropped out of this fall’s election race.
She had filed for Council Position 2 being vacated by Glenn Wiggins.
The two remaining candidates for the position are Jack Pittis and Cherie Kidd.
Clallam County Elections Supervisor Patty Rosand said Smith Barrett did not withdraw by the deadline, so her name will remain on the election ballot.
Smith Barrett did not return telephone calls regarding why she decided to withdraw.
