EVERETT — A U.S. Coast Guard helicopter crew from Air Station Port Angeles located and hoisted one of two missing wind surfers Sunday afternoon.
A Good Samaritan rescued the second wind surfer, according to the Coast Guard.
Two male wind surfers were reported missing off Kayak Point, north of Everett, the Coast Guard tweeted at 2:27 p.m. The aircrew from Port Angeles, a boat crew from Station Seattle and a Snohomish County marine unit helped in the search.
The wind surfer that was hoisted was in good condition and didn’t need medical assistance.
