On Sunday, the 44-year-old, auto-passenger ferry MV Coho goes out of service through March 10 to get new engines.
While the Coho is out, the foot-passengers-only Victoria Express, which normally operates in the summer, will serve Victoria from Port Angeles.
Beginning Sunday, the 105-foot vessel will depart Port Angeles daily at 8:30 a.m., with a return trip from Victoria at 4 p.m.
Reservations are recommended; phone 360-452-8088 or 800-633-1589.
Fares for adults (ages 12 and over) are $15 one way; children, $10; children under 5, $2.50.
The Victoria Express takes an hour to cross the Strait of Juan de Fuca between Port Angeles and Victoria, about 23 miles.
