PORT ANGELES — If Port Angeles Councilman Grant Munro successfully attends domestic violence counseling for about a year, with the psychologist he’s currently seeing, fourth-degree assault domestic violence charges against him will be dropped.
Munro, 58, agreed Oct. 24 to the arrangement in Clallam County District Court.
He was arrested last August by Clallam County deputies for investigation of shoving his wife, Carol Munro, 57, to the ground three times during an argument over disciplining their 10-year-old grandson.
He pleaded not guilty to the charge.
Munro is scheduled to appear in Clallam County District Court again in Port Angeles on Oct. 30 next year.
