The Port Angeles Chamber of Commerce plans to welcome the Spirit of Oceanus, its captain and passengers with music, a red carpet and a plaque when the 114-passenger cruise ship docks at City Pier today.
The 295-foot flagship of the eight-ship Cruise West line is expected to arrive at 9 a.m.
Passengers will take chartered buses for a four-hour visit to Hurricane Ridge, then return about 1 p.m. to have lunch, shop downtown and explore the city.
