Port Angeles: Custodian accused of high school voyeurism fired by School Board

The Port Angeles School District has fired a 54-year-old custodian accused of voyeurism on the high school campus.

Gary Alan Boyd of Port Angeles allegedly took “upskirt”‘ photos of female students without their knowledge, police and prosecutors say.

Boyd will be arraigned today at 9 a.m. in Clallam County Superior Court.

School district officials placed Boyd on paid administrative leave following the April 26 incident. Superintendent Gary Cohn said after an internal investigation that he urged the School Board to fire Boyd, which it did unanimously Wednesday night.

Boyd was hired as a substitute custodian in 1994 and rose to part-time custodian at the high school in January 2001.
