PORT ANGELES — Two families who live within Four Seasons Park are still trying to find the owner of a dog who can open car doors and made herself at home in a vehicle on the rainy night before Thanksgiving.
David LeRoy and neighbors Ben Barger and his fiancee Kristina D’Amore are looking for the owner of a female pit bull/shepherd mix they have named Trixey.
“She is just the sweetest dog,” Barger, who is housing Trixey, said Tuesday. “If we can’t find her owner I will keep her, but she is older, well behaved and must belong to someone.”
Barger said the dog, who he estimates to be four or five years old, can open almost any car door, can almost push open the sliding glass door and has almost figured out how to work a baby gate.
(Anyone who has information about the found dog can call LeRoy at 360-452-4513.)
