PORT ANGELES — A Peninsula College student remained in Harborview Medical Center in Seattle Saturday following a fight late Friday in the college’s residence hall.
The two students who allegedly injured the man were arrested Saturday for second-degree assault.
Chris Pitman, 20, and Bryce Legge, 19, are expected to face felony charges Monday in Clallam County Superior Court.
Pitman and Legge, who both live in the residence hall on the college’s campus, 1502 E. Lauridsen Blvd., allegedly got in a fight with Todd Russell, 34, shortly before 11 p.m. Friday, police Sgt. Jim Baertschiger said Saturday.
Police responded to a call from the college at 10:56 p.m. and found Russell, who also lives in the dormitory, lying in the hallway, Baertschiger said.
His injuries resulted from an apparent fist fight in which no weapon was used, Baertschiger said.
