PORT ANGELES — Two people were temporarily displaced from their homes Friday when a bed caught fire inside a Lauridsen Boulevard house.
Kathleen Young, 35, and Israel Lundstrom, 30, who each rented a room in the house owned by Jerry Robison, are being put up in a local hotel by the American Red Cross until they can find places to live.
The fire occurred shortly after noon Friday in Lundstrom’s room on the main floor of the house at 921 E. Lauridsen Blvd.
Young and Lundstrom were not injured, and Robison was not home at the time of the fire.
