PORT ANGELES — The Port Angeles Food Bank will hold its “No Foolin’ Around” April Fool’s Day spaghetti dinner fundraiser at the Elks Naval Lodge, 131 E. First St., from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Thursday.
A $10 donation includes a spaghetti dinner with salad, bread and spumoni for dessert.
Raffle tickets will be available for $1, and there will be entertainment.
Serving as waiters will be Port Angeles “celebrities” including car dealers Bill and Chris Koenig; Port Angeles School Superintendent Jane Pryne; Clallam County Auditor Patty Rosand; Clallam County Assessor Pam Rushton; Port Angeles Regional Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Russ Veenema; Vanessa Fuller, Port Angeles Regional Chamber director of events and webmaster; Port Angeles Police Chief Terry Gallagher and his wife, Tammy; Edna Petersen, owner of Necessities & Temptations and a former City Council member; and three Peninsula Daily News executives — Publisher and Editor John Brewer, Advertising Director Suzanne Williams and Director of Newspaper Services Ann Ashley.
