Port Angeles: Foss Maritime loses harbor fuel contract to Olympic Tug

PORT ANGELES — Olympic Tug and Barge of Seattle will take over ship fueling operations in Port Angeles Harbor, a service offered by Foss Maritime for the past 10 years.

Olympic Tug’s contract with fuel supplier Tesoro Marine Services begins Dec. 20. The pact will come up for renewal again in 2005.

Tesoro Marine is the only company providing bunker fuel for vessels entering Port Angeles Harbor.

Under the contract, Tesoro grants Olympic Tug exclusive bunkering rights in Port Angeles.
