Port Angeles Garden Club gives fall Green Thumb award

PORT ANGELES — The Port Angeles Garden Club recently announced that Anna Nichols won its fall Green Thumb award.

Nichols received the award for excellence in landscaping at her 1019 E. Ninth St. residence.

The garden club selects a residential garden for its Green Thumb Award in the spring, the summer and the fall.

In order to be considered, the garden must be planted and maintained by the homeowner without professional landscaping.
