PORT ANGELES — The downtown parking ad-hoc committee recommended the City Council accept a parking and Gateway International Transportation Center design Tuesday that the group believes will resolve concerns related to the construction of the center.
The committee estimates the cost of its preferred design at $11.3 million, to be funded by a combination of businesses, property owners and downtown visitors.
The City Council took the recommendation under advisement.
The council will hold a special meeting April 29 to consider the proposal.
