PORT ANGELES — A local nonprofit group presented a written request Tuesday evening to the City Council seeking $100,000 to study the feasibility of building a $60 million multi-use performing arts center.
Brian Pettyjohn, speaking for the proposed Cascadia Center for the Performing and Literary Arts, requested the money — and said he hoped to have an opportunity to discuss the request at a future council meeting.
He handed copies of the letter to each council member.
There was no reaction from any of them.
