Musicians often dream of performing at Carnegie Hall or playing on a nationally broadcast television show.
For some Port Angeles High School students, both of those dreams may come true.
Seventy-seven members of the school’s symphony orchestra are scheduled to play in New York City’s famed concert hall Sunday afternoon.
In addition, four members of the orchestra have been invited to perform Monday on “Good Morning America,” school music director Ron Jones said Wednesday.
If television time allows, the string quartet will play on the television show to be broadcast at 7 a.m. PDT Monday on KOMO Channel 4, Jones said.
The quartet will most likely play before or after the weather portion of the show, he said.
