Port Angeles: Little girl with a new heart listed in stable condition

Another bake sale will be held for 21-month-old Hallie Alley of Port Angeles, who remained in critical but stable condition following a March 16 heart transplant.

The toddler is recovering at Children’s Hospital and Regional Medical Center in Seattle.

Grandparents Kathleen and Don Anding of Port Angeles have been staying with Hallie in Seattle.

Mrs. Anding’s Rite Aid drugstore co-workers have raised about $3,100 for the couple through bake sales and donation jars.

“Hallie is doing a lot better, but has a long road ahead of her,” said Rite Aid co-worker Sharon Boyd.

The next bake sale will be held April 4 at the store, 621 S. Lincoln St.
