A two-year-old who received a heart transplant in March is doing well after a partial-rejection scare last week.
Haille Alley is home after a brief stay at Children’s Hospital and Regional Medical Center in Seattle. Doctors adjusted her medication following biopsy results.
“You would never have known she was in rejection,” said her grandmother Kathleen Anding on Wednesday. “It was quite a scare, but today I am worn out from chasing her around the house.”
Haille will undergo testing and biopsies periodically to monitor her health.
