PORT ANGELES — Proposed development regulations intended to be more business friendly could include allowing septic systems within the city limits on lots as small as a half acre.
The Planning Commission discussed that and other potential development regulations during its regular meeting Wednesday night.
Assistant Planner Sue Roberds said the City Council was seeking the panel’s consensus on the proposed development regulations.
They are slated for a public hearing at a special council meeting scheduled for April 29 in Council Chambers of City Hall, 321 E. Fifth St.
The proposed changes are intended to stimulate development in the city’s outlying suburban areas, Roberds said.
