A 31-year-old Forks man reportedly wanted in Alaska was arrested Sunday while returning to Port Angeles on the ferry MV Coho after being refused entry to Canada.
Todd Pollow, 31, was denied entry by Customs Canada in Victoria when they discovered that he had an outstanding arrest warrant out of Alaska. Canadian officials notified U.S. Customs inspectors, who in turn alerted Port Angeles police.
Port Angeles police confirmed that a $50,000 warrant for sexual abuse of a child was issued in Alaska and arrested Pollow without incident. He was booked into the Clallam County jail to await extradition to the 49th state.
