PORT ANGELES — A man shot and killed by police Monday night was hit by bullets four times, according to the Washington State Patrol.
Carmen D. Hudson Jr., 33, was hit by four rounds when two officers fired at him in the back yard of a Port Angeles residence, State Patrol Lt. Greg Miller said Thursday.
Police claim Hudson had pointed a loaded shotgun at the officers and Hudson’s former girlfriend as she reported a domestic violence assault, prompting the officers to fire their handguns at him.
An autopsy was performed on Hudson Wednesday morning in Port Angeles.
Miller, who is supervising a State Patrol investigation into the shooting, said Thursday he did not know where the shots hit Hudson’s body.
