BLYN — A Port Angeles man had been discharged from Harborview Medical Center in Seattle by Thursday after he was hurt in a motorcycle wreck on U.S. Highway 101 in Blyn on Monday.
Davey J. Sanders Jr., 43, was headed east on Highway 101 at Woods Road at 4:06 p.m. Monday when he hit the brakes on his gray 1995 Honda VF750 motorcycle, slid across the westbound lanes and stopped on the westbound shoulder, the State Patrols said.
He had failed to notice earlier enough that a pickup truck was slowing and pulling into the left turn lane, the State Patrol said.
He was airlifted to Harborview, where he was listed in serious condition Tuesday.
A Harborview spokeswoman said Thursday that Sanders had been treated and discharged Wednesday.
