PORT ANGELES — Any charges are on hold against a 49-year-old man under investigation for storing child pornography on his computer — based on a tip by German authorities.
Clallam County Prosecuting Attorney Chris Shea said Monday that prosecutors will wait until the U.S. Customs Service completes its forensic investigation of Kenneth Alfred King’s computer before taking any further action.
The matter had been on the Clallam County Superior Court docket for Monday afternoon.
On Thursday, Superior Court Judge George L. Wood released King on his own recognizance. King remains free until charges are filed, Shea said.
