PORT ANGELES — Olympic Medical Center is among the top 1 percent of hospitals across the nation when it comes to quality of care.
A report released Thursday by hospital officials cites a Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations study giving the hospital a perfect score based on criteria measuring quality of care.
“It’s a remarkable national achievement, and it affects every patient that comes through here,” Rhonda LoPresti, public relations and marketing director for the hospital, said Thursday.
“With our 100 percent score, patients know how serious we are about the quality of our care,” hospital Administrator Mike Glenn added.
