The Port Angeles man whose car was involved in a head-on collision that killed him and a Canadian man Monday night was driving without a valid license, sheriff’s investigators said Wednesday.
Clallam County Undersheriff Joe Martin did not say why the license of Aaron Eaton, 24, had been suspended or revoked.
He referred queries to the state Department of Licensing in Olympia. A written request to the licensing office for that information went unanswered Wednesday afternoon.
But other details — including identities of the four people in the other car — emerged Wednesday.
The collision occurred about 10 p.m. Monday on Old Olympic Highway between Port Angeles and Sequim.
The other fatality was identified Wednesday as Kevin Lindsay, 42, a schoolteacher from Qualicum Beach, British Columbia.
