PORT ANGELES — Police are investigating a rash of car-window smashings that occurred early Sunday morning on the city’s east side.
The vandalism was preceded by a report of juveniles looking into cars in a parking lot on the 800 block of East Fifth Street at 3:47 a.m.
It was not clear whether the incidents were connected.
Cars with smashed windows were reported at 825 E. Fourth St., 308 S. Race St., and 630 E. Fourth St. between 3:59 and 4:39 a.m. Sunday.
Two incidents seven minutes apart were reported at the Race Street address.
