PORT ANGELES — Port Angeles police are seeking information on an assault that took place Saturday on East Front Street.
At about 11 p.m. Saturday, police received a report of an injured man in the 1600 block of East Front Street near Kemp Street, Sgt. Jason Viada said Monday.
An officer found Sean Tamburro, 22, of Port Angeles with injuries to his face and neck, Viada said. Details on the nature of the injuries were not available Monday.
Tamburro was transported by ambulance to Olympic Medical Center for treatment, he said.
A hospital spokeswoman said Tamburro was treated for his injuries and released.
Viada said investigators believe Tamburro arrived at a business in the area at about 10:15 p.m.
Police are seeking more information about what occurred that may have led up to the incident.
Investigators have categorized the circumstances surrounding the assault report as “suspicious,” he said.
