PORT ANGELES — Looking for a free parking space downtown?
Don’t look in the lot at the corner of First and Laurel streets — parking there will cost you.
Last week, parking lot owner Darrel Vincent of Port Angeles officially converted the property into a pay-for-parking lot.
Motorists parking in the lot are charged from $1 per hour to $5 per day, Vincent, who also owns the building housing Maurice’s department store, said.
