PORT ANGELES — After seven years in business, the owners of Retroville Antiques & Collectibles are closing their downtown store.
“It’s kind of a bittersweet thing,” said David Hendrickson, who owns the shop on First Street with his wife, Jeanette.
“We’ll miss it,” he said. “It’s a lot of fun.”
The shop, which sells vintage housewares, clothes and collectibles, has no set closing date but will shut when all merchandise is sold, probably mid-December, Hendrickson said.
Everything in the store is now 50 percent off.
Hendrickson said he and his wife decided to close the shop to focus on the other businesses they have run for several years — David doing vintage-style home remodelings and Jeanette producing custom slipcovers and upholstery.
