PORT ANGELES — Local officials marked the completion of the Lauridsen Boulevard/Edgewood Drive realignment project near Fairchild International Airport on Tuesday with a ribbon-cutting ceremony..
Port Angeles Mayor Larry Doyle cut a giant red ribbon officially opening the straightened road.
“Finally,” Doyle said as the ribbon fell to the ground.
The project realigned two 90-degree curves at the intersection of Lauridsen Boulevard and Edgewood Drive into a smooth “s’ curve.
